Donation and Recycling When Practical

Oregon Junk Busters prioritizes donation and recycling whenever practical. Usable furniture, household goods, and other items may be donated, and recyclable materials may be separated before disposal.

Not every item can be donated or recycled, but our goal is to reduce landfill waste where it makes sense while still providing fast, practical junk removal for our customers.

We want your removal day to be the easiest part of your week. As a woman-owned business, we prioritize clear communication and respect for your home.

  • Point and it's gone: You don't need to lift a finger. Leave items exactly where they are—upstairs, in the basement, or out in the yard.
  • Bag the small stuff: If you have hundreds of small loose items, bagging them helps us clear the space faster for you.
  • Clear a path: While we handle the heavy lifting, ensuring a clear path to the items helps us work safely and efficiently.

The "Items We Take" Guarantee

Every item we remove is evaluated for its next best life. We maintain strict partnerships with local Oregon City and Portland donation centers and recycling hubs. If your "junk" can be someone else's treasure, we make sure it gets there.

Common Questions

How do you charge for junk removal?

Our pricing is primarily based on volume (how much space your items take up in our truck). This includes all labor, transport, and disposal fees. For specialized items like hot tubs or heavy construction debris (concrete/dirt), we provide flat-rate quotes based on the complexity of the job.

Do I need to be present for the pickup?

Not necessarily. As long as the items are accessible (curbside, driveway, or unlocked gate), we can handle the removal and send you a digital invoice once the area is cleared and swept. We’ll even text you "before and after" photos.

How soon can you get here?

We are often able to provide same-day or next-day service in Oregon City and the surrounding metro area. Because we are locally owned and operated, we can be much more flexible with our scheduling than national franchises.

What happens to my items after you take them?

We follow a "Donation First" policy. If items are in good condition, we take them to local Portland-area charities. If not, we sort for metals and recyclables to ensure that the bare minimum ends up in a landfill.
